Facebook is insanely huge. With over 200 MILLION active users each month, you can be sure that there are more than enough people there to make you money. One of the best things about Facebook is that they allow regular users to host content on their site in the form of ‘applications’; Quizzes, Games, Simple RPGs, things of these nature…

Now, the reason someone would want to do this is:
a) the ‘apps’ can be monetized by developers via standard banner ads, CPA/affiliate offer reward networks, etc.
b) the apps can be quickly and widely distributed to an insanely large active userbase via Facebook’s viral channels.

Now what this means is that developers can setup applications, launch them to Facebook’s userbase of 200 million plus (and growing) userbase, and then make money when people use them while at the same time automatically spreading the app to their friends!

It’s a dream come true.

It does take a bit of work to get to this point, but it isn’t much. We’re talking putting in about 15-30 minutes of work each day for a few days, or a week, and then reaping the benefits from that point. And it’s WELL worth it when you put the time in. Actually, setting up an app and having it earn $100 in the same day is nothing.. if you do a great job of setting up the first part of this method, you can see profits of $1000-$5000 the first day. Easy, really.

Now keep in mind, this is NOT $100, or $1000, or $5000 and that’s it… End of story. No.

This are simply the FIRST DAY’S EARNINGS for the application.

So you can imagine how quickly this can add up, and you don’t need to do a thing with that app again except check stats and get paid. You can of course also continue to promote the app and get paid even more if you’d like too.

Even on a smaller scale, this method is still ridiculously lucrative. There is absolutely no shame in running an application that only makes $40 every day, especially when you’ve got 30-40 of them!

As stated above this method takes very little effort and is completely foolproof, all you need to do is follow procedure. If you’re looking to promote your applications organically, this is your best option. Period.

It’s unclear exactly how it works and there seems to be no current documentation, but it appears that you send your Page’s updates to Facebook via your activated mobile phone and FB sends it to the appropriate Page based on which mobile number the update came from.

Two things are for sure. This is an indispensable tool for anyone with a Page, and the functionality will certainly improve in the future, more than likely through implementation in future mobile versions of the Facebook app.
