Current Facebook Application Earnings

One of the questions that we’re asked pretty frequently goes something along the lines of this: “I know Facebook applications were earning GREAT money when the platform first launched, but are apps still earning good money nowadays, nearly 3 years later?”

The answer is quite simply, yes, they are!

Not only is this particular application earning easy money from standard banner advertisements, it’s also bringing in revenue from virtual currency, via CPA offers and direct payments. Check out some of the app’s earnings from virtual currency last month:

You may have to zoom in to be able to view that stats, but the bottom line is that this single application earned well over $800 in December 2009, on complete auto-pilot!

Now $800 may not be enough to single-handedly pay all of your bills, but it’s a great start! Of course the idea is to setup many similar applications and get them all earning on similar levels. An extra $800 a month may not be much, but when you have 10 similar apps running, that’s $8,000!
